Michael Piccirillo, Architect – Background and Experience
What sets apart Michael Piccirillo from other architectural firms is an expertise in a wide array of design styles and a commitment to attention to detail. Each project is unique and the design is customized to meet the needs of the client – whether it be a spacious country-style home or a small business with a modest footprint.
Piccirillo, the owner and president of the firm, began his architectural education at a design-oriented college where he focused on creative style and experimented with a variety of design styles. From there, he focused on the engineering side of architecture to support various design styles and honed his skills on making the best use of an existing space while also ensuring the finished product was practical. He’s got an array of experience and a portfolio of proven results – from commercial and retail buildings, to high-end homes and small businesses.
“As my business grew, I always kept in mind that a successful practice relies on not only producing high-quality architecture at any price point or size, but it also relies on listening to the client,” he said. “I also developed an ability to use my creativity to offer clients lots of options for any given design problem.”
A native of Dumont, New Jersey, Piccirillo studied at the School of Architecture in Philadelphia and graduated with a degree in Architecture at New York Institute of Technology. He became a licensed architect in 2000 and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He is a member of the Architectural Review Board in the Town of Yorktown. Piccirillo currently resides in Westchester County, New York, and concentrates his business in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess Counties and in the five boroughs of New York City as well as southern Connecticut.
Whether it is a colonial, cape, Tudor, ranch or modern style, Michael Piccirillo Architect strives to capture the tastes of the client. This focus on the clients' needs and desires has developed Michael Piccirillo Architecture into a successful architectural firm.
